Inspired by many experiences during travels and encounters in Switzerland, Iceland and Japan, in 2008 / 2009 Dominik began with the initial recording sessions for AN MOKU. The album, STILLE, is characterized by all these impressions. The soundscapes are formed by synthesizer and acoustic sounds as well as field recordings captured in these countries. The accentuation is provided by tweaks, clicking loops and drones. The result is a lush visceral collage.
